Wu  1 Calvin Wu 0728948 English 131 A4 Suzanne Schmidt 3/14/08 End Government Oppression Man or Woman, White or “colored”, every single human being should be treated the same. As long as they are legally residing in the United States, everyone should deserve to have all the rights granted by the constitution and government. However, through corruption and stereotypes, these rights are unequally distributed. As a result organizations such as the Black Panther Party made the ten point plan to try to balance society. On the other hand, much of these kinds of tries to change these freedoms and rights were futile. For that the reason, the Constitution along with its amendments allow the oppressed people to be as equal as any “citizen”. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights also grants all humans with a set of rights in which they may not be denied of. Every human being should deserve the same opportunity as any other human to move socially anywhere in society; none should be yielded by any discriminating acts. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights portrays the bare minimum that each citizen possesses and no one should be rejected from it regardless, race or social standing, etc. Every human living in the United States theoretically has the same opportunity to move up in society but because of racism many of them are deprived of this right.
