Clark 1 Tyler Clark P. Flory-Sanchez Eng. 98 3331 4pm. 1 May 2015 Visual analysis portfolio: [Subtitle] 3. Audience it’s geared for: The main demographic for the Pacifico beer ad would have to be males and females over the age of 21, searching for a new adventurous experience whilst indulging in their foreign cuisine. The food displayed in the ad is specifically geared towards those who enjoy the traditional Mexican experience while also trying to pair that cuisine with a traditional Mexican beer. 4. Description of all the characters: there are two active characters in the visual ad itself, the first character is a Latin female, short in stature, probably in her mid-thirties, early forties. She is wearing a yellow apron and seems to be moving in a rapid nature because the picture of the individual itself is a little blurry. The second character we are introduced to is also a Latin female, a bit taller than the last individual but not by much. She has a black braided ponytail that extends past he shoulders and she is sporting a fashionable 1980’s inspired red button-up tang top. 5. How many objects? There is a plethora of objects in the scene! The first class of objects we will go over will be the different varieties of food that is displayed in the ad, there are cured meats, black beans, Spanish rice, and even the most fundamental of Mexican dishes, tortillas! The next class of objects we will be going over is the dishes, plates and utilities that support and display these traditional Mexican food items. There are 6 black cast iron pots, a traditional wood-fire grill, and warming containers too hold the finished meat. And last but not least, there are 3 slightly condensated, cool and refreshing pacifico beers! 6. Sticky Parts (that stand out in your mind) : There are more than 2 objects that stand out in the ad when I am not looking at it, but the 2 most memorable items would have to be the pacifico beer of course, and the second would have to be the traditional Mexican cured meats that hang from the ceiling in the first picture. 7. Font Styles: The pacifico beer ad displays a multitude of different texts, the first and most predominant of the two text say “The Wonderful World of Adventure Eating” this navy blue and bold font draws your eyes in first, because it’s the biggest thing your eye catches it draws you in and signifies the beginning of the saying. Directly following that quote is hand written font style saying “Don’t reserve a sense of adventure for your feet.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
