Ulysses was now finally home to Ithaca and had appeased Neptune from hating him and had now been living happily with Penelope but he felt a loss sense of action. He began to fall into the boredoms of common live and wanted to feel strong again, so he set out on a journey. Ulysses sailed until he reached a small island with no human inhabitants. Ulysses decided he would take a break and restock on food, for he had been sailing for three whole weeks. After gathering enough supplies to last a little longer Ulysses stumbled upon a cave, unimaginable noises resonated from its inner darkness. From the sounds it seemed as a creature had been moving quickly towards Ulysses and would attack him. Ulysses drew his sword in preparation

Unformatted text preview: for a fight; soon nothing happened; after an hour of waiting nothing had happened, “really?” shouted Ulysses. Just then noise had restarted and a great beast emerged. Its huge jaws filled with giant teeth that snapped at Ulysses, he jumped back from the creature, it was larger then he had anticipated and looked like it had been a dragon, though it was unlikely for its jaws had been where its chest should and yet moved faster than it looked. Ulysses ran as quick as he could just barely making it to his single ship and sailing far enough away from the beast to be considered safe. He would return home and never again mention the island in which he’d seen the monster....
