In this experiment we were test a new toy called the gig’em launcher. It is a football getting launched at and angle by a counter weight of a certain mass. In the memo it talks about the different affects the football’s flight will be with different set ups. It will test how the mass of the counter weight, the angle of the launcher and the distance of the launching pad have an affect on the flight of the football, which will be the main idea of this experiment. Experiment 2 The gig’em launcher This is a diagram of what the gig’em launcher might look like. As you can see there is an adjustable angle at which you can launch from. Also there is the counter weight in which more or less weight can be added to affect the flight of the ball. Another variable is the position in which you can start the ball from, how far down the track will also affect the trajectory of this ball. Mass of counter
