SELF-REFLECTION

Before we go further, let us first reflect on our current standing. As Pre-Service teachers,
you already have your knowledge, skills, and attitudes in relation to the competency standards
set. Reflect on your knowledge, skills, and attitudes in relation to the indicator. You may write it

As a beginning Teacher, I know that it is not as easy as we can see our teacher when we are
students, because we only see them teaching us but beside that, they are one of the busiest
people. They are teaching, they are also studying for their master’s degree, etc. So, as a
beginning teacher, I need to be ready and always remind myself that learning is literally a
continuous process. We need to learn a lot of things, we need to be ready and prepared
physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually for us to educate our students well. To ensure
that they will really learn from us.
As a beginning Teacher, I do remind myself that every second of my life is very
important for me wherein, I have to manage my time very well so that I can be a faster and
efficient teacher. Students want to see a healthy and smiling teacher, not an irritable and sleepy
one. So, I have to maintain a healthy balance of work and personal life. Even though this is very
