Generally speaking, the term has gradually replaced personnel management. Managing and developing human resource in the international setting is sharply recognized as the biggest challenge to all business managers and multinational corporations in particular. Human resource management is not only based on academic theory but also a business that expresses the theory and practice techniques of managing a workforce. The main objectives of this assignment are to highlight the linkage between theory and the practicality of HRM, the roles of human resource manager in practicing human resource practices at work place, and the importance of human resource department in managing human capital at TH TRUE MILK JOINT STOCK VIETNAM COMPANY. I. QUESTION 1: 1.1. TH TRUE MILK PROFILE TH True Milk was established in 24/2/2009 and introduced the products to market in 26/12/ 2010. TH is one of the top suppliers of pure fresh milk products in Vietnam. The current product portfolio of TH Group includes pasteurized pure fresh milk products. TH True Milk products are nominated for nearly 40% market share of fresh dairy in the North and strongly expanding to the South. The Company Revenue since inception from late 2010 to 2012 was approximately 3,000 billion VND. In adition, it reached 4,000 billion in 201 and is expected to reach 15.000 billion VND in 2015 and 23.000 billion VND in 2017. It is also expected that TH True Milk will provide 50% of the pure fresh milk products for the whole country. The number of the dairy herds are over 30,000 cows currently, the company is expected to rise to 137,000 in 2017, accounted 50% of the national herd.
