UTL 101 LESSON PLAN FORMAT (Madeline Hunter Model) Grade Level: Subject: MATERIALS: List the materials you will need and any other advance preparation you must do.  Be very  specific. TEKS: What Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills are included in  this lesson?  The TEKS are what the students will know and be able to do (audience = teacher and supervisor)   OBJECTIVES: Let the students know what they will learn during the lesson.  Tell them what they will know and/or be able to do when you finish.  (audience = students) ANTICIPATORY SET: This is a “preview of coming attractions.”  The anticipatory set is also  called an attention grabber, the focus, the priming activity, or the hook . It  gets students ready/and or excited to accept instruction.   LEARNING ACTIVITIES:     Common elements or building blocks:
