This paper is intended to be a memo to a Sr. Manager at the company at which one works at.

Discrimination memo 3 Discrimination memo Discrimination exists in many forms in many companies. Through personal research and research available online one has found information in discrimination, compensation and benefits, representation and collective activity, safety and health, job protection and wrongful termination are all areas that the company should be aware of. Too often companies will settle because of their fear of their own poor documentation of any event that takes place in the work environment. For small to medium and even some smaller large companies, lawsuits can be a large portion of their income stripped away. The income would be stripped away sometimes for something that one would perceive as insignificant as a male restaurant worker pulls the straws from his apron. One could see this as a sexually suggestive act. Sensitivity is needed to be taught, so the company can have its back covered with preventive training. Discrimination Discrimination is defined in the dictionary as “treatment or consideration of, or making a distinction in favor of or against, a person or thing based on the group, class, or category to which that person or thing belongs rather than on individual merit “(2006). Discrimination in the work-place is intolerable. Discrimination law suits take
