A: Make a production drawing The one and only one purpose of mechanical drawing is to completely describe the true shape of the object so that every reader can generate or manufacture the exact same 3D object. When we talk about production drawing, it means that: Every dimension is fully specified Every dimension tolerance is specified Every feature, even the small & details feature is fully specified. Every different manufacturing company can produce the exchangeable parts.
