2Simplifying ExpressionsSimplifying expressions is making like terms one simply solution rather than a complicated set of factors. Simplifying an expression can make the equation much easier to find a solution. There are multiple properties used in simplifying expression, the commutative property, associative property, distributive property, density property, and identity property. Each property is used in its own fashion depending upon the real numberexpressions at hand. Commutative propertystates we can add the numbers in an expression in any order this is also similar to multiplication. The associative propertyallow both multiplication and addition to be done at the same instance. Distributive propertyrefers to both addition and multiplication as well but allows the terms in parenthesis to be distributed thus removing the parentheses from the expression.
