College Success Skills Action Plan
My learning style is visual. The result was 35%. Visual learning style means that I learn by
seeing information or reading. I also can picture what I am learning in my head. I learn best by
using primarily visual methods. To remember something, I often close my eyes to visualize.
To build my college success skill action plan I will have to use my learning style and the result of
my study skills inventory which are:
Concentration: 35
Time management:13
Textbook Reading:13
Note-taking:17
Test Preparation: 41
Memory: 38
My three top weaknesses are note-taking; textbook reading; time management. Based on these
scores and my learning style, I plan to improve my note-taking skills by the mind-mapping
method which is making connections between fact and idea.
