Freedom essay Oedipus is one of the greatest greek tragedies that was ever written and it is a good representation of fatalism. This is the view that whatever a persons actions and circumstances, however free they may seem, his or her predetermined end is inevitable. This is saying that everything in this life is preset and all of our actions are chosen thus ruling out true freedom.
