PSYCHOLOGY 0105 EXAM #2 STUDY GUIDE SPRING 2008 In studying for the second exam, you should once again try to take an active approach. Don’t try to merely memorize terms, or simply read over the lecture notes and assigned readings and then put them down. Instead, try to link together concepts and look away from the lectures and readings and see if you can explain concepts and findings in your own words. Consult the learning objectives on the text website (as well as the lecture objectives listed below), and think up examples of your own for the various concepts covered. Finally, try to integrate the lecture notes with the readings – they are meant to accompany each other, rather than be viewed as separate entities. Many exam questions will draw on information covered in both places, not just one. Let us know if you have questions, and good luck! Learning Objectives: Stereotypes, Prejudice, and Discrimination How are stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination defined in social psychology? What explicit and implicit measures are used to measure stereotypes?

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
