Christina Husk 11/5/13 MUS-Z111 Concert Report (1) Dr. Robin Cox’s Violin Recital On Monday, November 4, 2013, I attended faculty member Dr. Robin Cox’s  violin recital. Dr. Cox’s musical repertoire is very impressive. He led “The Robin Cox  Ensemble” for 13 years, composes his own music, and creates pieces with other  violinists. His style of music is very abstract and unlike anything I’d ever heard.  His  music had very strange accompaniments as well. He played this music, his violin, and a  bass drum during the performance.  He played a total of seven songs. He showed two videos- one for  Gandharba’s  Song , which showed the life and land of the people of Nepal, and a video for  Outerborough , which showed trains travelling across the Brooklyn Bridge in 1899. Each  video was interesting to watch and fit the tone of the music well. Also, most of his pieces

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
