Each major bodysystem is described and analyzed to illustrate normal function as well as pathology. Topics include basicbiochemical elements, skin, bone, muscles, the nervous system, the senses, and the endocrine system.Course OverviewThis course is composed of 4 individual lessons, each covering one or more chapters in the textbook. Anexam is given at the end of each lesson. A proctored, comprehensive semester exam is given at theconclusion of the semester. Students must earn a score of at least 70 percent in no more than twoattempts on the proctored final exam. New questions are given for the second attempt. The final percentilegrade is the average of the scores earned on each exam.
