Rodenbeek Caitlin Rodenbeek Randall ENG 122-054 11 October 2006 A Slice of Love In the matter of finding true love, Alf Wit once said, “I know that somewhere in the Universe exists my perfect soul mate -- but looking for her is much more difficult than just staying at home and ordering another pizza.” What Mr. Wit did not realize is that combining the two makes for a much more interesting allure. In Greeley, Colorado there is a major consensus that the best place to enjoy a deliciously steaming piece of pizza is at the local restaurant, Roma’s Pizza. It is what one finds upon entering the establishments that sets it apart from all the others. Roma’s is constantly packed with college students of all types, snuggled in to enjoy a slice and meet with friends, old and new. It is the couples, though, that catch eyes as they are blissfully unaware of anything other than their mate and pizza. Sitting at a table with a mixture of friends, I could not help but to notice a particular couple enthralled with each other’s company.
