2Literature ReviewOver time, psychologists, pedagogues, and scholars have recognized the role ofmotivation to a working staff(s). Scholarly literature has documentation on the key elements thatmotivation poses in working people at a particular workplace in any part of the globe. Thereforemotivation is regarded as a drive from an inner gut for behaving confidently after reward. In the70s, studies rose that motivation could be in two ways is internal or external, or rather it could beintrinsic or extrinsic, and it was thoroughly defined and discussed (Jovanovic & Matejevic2014).Further, the review touches on the effects and consequences of these motivations to thegeneral workforce and future working space for the staff. Although there are different reasons fora reward system in various working organizations, the goal and influence are entirely different.Before handling the role of total rewards for employees in an organization, what is theprevious and current literature for the context paper say about the ways of increasing employeemotivation?
