1.Executive summary:The first step in the user design process is to research a few important subjectsto get a feel of the overall system and how it will look. The following are someinteresting subjects to investigate:The summary - this section outlines the user's or product owner's expectationsfor the system. It's tough to have a clear image of how the system will operatewhile you're in the inquiry and consultation stage because there's usually adisconnect between what people want to see and what they'll get.You will be able to obtain information from the product owner's perspective, suchas target audience, including but not limited to 'age, specialties, location, andemployment' to give an idea of the user's profile, when documenting the brief;however, you will not be able to obtain information that gives you a clearindication of what the user will do when they receive the system. It's simply astab in the dark.User persona parameters are non-contextual and are based on a pre-definedprofile of who the user could be. This kind of data is usually inaccurate and relieson several assumptions. If you're creating a system to educate young girls how touse computers for the first time, we'd go with warm, soft color palettes that arevery female, and blue with the boy child. However, this phenomenon is the resultof a marketing strategy and cultural indoctrination, and there are severalinconsistencies in that idea, particularly when ethnicity and background areconsidered. So, believing that a young person from a culture where red clothing is worn willimmediately feel good while using a blue interface since blue is associated withtrust according to color psychology (uxplanet.org) is wrong.Following that, we'll see how various factors must be considered when evaluatinguser responses and feelings. In my perspective, only what you have experiencedcan be believed, which means we need to do a physical experiment to identifythe types of feelings they have in a neutral, non-stimulating environment.External stimuli should not be regarded neutral, such as evaluating UX after auser has eaten chocolate cake.2.Drawbacksof Cognitive Walkthrougha. It can be very slow and time consuming when it is used on very large and complexsystems.b.Cognitive Walkthrough does not provide a high-level view of systems. CognitiveWalkthrough does not provide a clear indication of whether a user was aware ofthe existence of a function or that the interface gave users a clue that the functionis there. Therefore, Cognitive Walkthrough pays more attention to how operations
that are needed to execute a certain task follow one another but does not evaluatethe function itself. If the user isn’t aware of the existence of that functions or if theuser interface does not inform the user of its existence the user will not be able to
