APPRAISALS AND STRATEGY 2Appraisals and StrategyFor this paper/assignment I will be drafting my own performance appraisal policy and appraisal form because I do not currently have an employer. This paper is based upon a warehouse employee at a Distribution Center working in the Break-Pack Department. Strategy 1: Improve Appraisal FormatsThe Policy I have drafted could be used for a wide variety of organizations and consists of four topics; Purpose, Objective, Policy, and Responsibilities. Purpose is straight forward and explains that this policy is to be used for appraising all employees. Objective explains that the policy is intended to be a tool in measuring an employee’s performance, establish a formal procedure between employee and their supervisor, a means to assist in formulating an action planto fulfill any needs the employee might have, and identify how an employee might benefit the company. Policy states when the performance appraisals must be completed, how the appraisal must be signed off on by the employee, what should be included in the performance appraisal, the steps a supervisor should take when completely the appraisal, and what should be done with the appraisal once it is completed. Responsibilities explain to the supervisor that the appraisals
