Geertz, Homework. 1.) What people live in a household together? How are they related? Women with their children, as well as the women’s brothers, uncles and any other close matrilineal kin live in the same household. 2.) How do men and women form a sexual partnership? What were the norms for sexual behavior for men and women? Is the father a relative to his offspring? Men and women for a sexual partnership by one of them approaching the other and asking them to be their sexual partner or to go and spend the night. Another way for them to continue the “romance” is by taking one of the belonging from the other person. If the person agrees to be a sexual partner then the guy sneaks into the girls house at night and sleeps with her, and leaves early in the morning, before anyone wakes up. It is normal for both men and women to have several different sexual partners, and to even have more than one visitor at night. Many times the daughters end up sleeping with their father, they never find out who the
