What kinds of resources are rationed? How did women explain the deaths of some infants and not others? The mothers of the town Alto de Cruizero decided to invest in infants that were heavy, strong and not weak, that would cry a lot and were clearly not quiet. They would invest on the children that seemed to be fighters when born. In the town there were lots of resources that are rationed because of poverty. Some of these resources are food and water. Under good breast feeding is one of the resources that mothers do not give to their children. The reason they don’t do this is because they believe that their milk is not healthy and is diseased, as well as not having time to give their kids this fluid and nutrition because of lack of time. They have to go and work in rich households or dangerous areas where the children cannot be taken. The women of the town would
