MEMO TO: Team Awesome FROM: Cassie Shenefelt DATE: 25 March 2008 REGARDING : Subsystem Analysis of frame for vehicle INTRODUCTION The frame of the car is the overall support structure. The frame will hold the fuel cell and the motor with all their components and will be the structure to which the axles are connected. The frame is the support for all the components of the car and has been specifically designed to help with equally distributing the weight of the vehicle to help with speed, which will make the car a top competitor in the drag race. The car also has other specifications, which will increase use of the fuel cell and be a top competitor in the circuit race, achieving the overall team goal of completing both the circuit and drag race in good time. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS The design of the body (see figure 2) is a triangle front with a square end. The back end of the car is 3.0 inches long with a width of 2.5 inches. The total length of the car is 6.0 inches and at the tip of the car where the single wheel is, the width is 0.5 inches.
