Tim Thyne U100 - Gaines MWF – 1pm Lecture Note-Writing Strategy Design and Implementation Description of Strategy In the following strategy an outline form is use to record notes. A new idea is represented by a new  Heading. Every concept of that idea is indented under that heading. Indentations continue as the  lecture information gets more specific. Headings and first indentions are set apart by a blank line.  Second and subsequent indentions are single spaced as effective. Recoding occurs after the lecture  during study and memorization. Purpose of Strategy The strategy was designed to insure easy-of-use and “quick reference” to make studying more  efficient and effective. The effectiveness is proven by the recoding. Strategy Implementation The above-described strategy was implemented over a two-week period in a MWF Life and  Teachings of Jesus class. Recoding was done two days before the exam.
