What does this mean? It doesn’t mean that you can’t get 42% or 96% or any other grade from 0% to 100% It does mean that, as a whole class, our average has to end up in this range

17/09/2014 3 Announcements & Reminders Academic offenses (e.g., looking at another student’s paper during an exam) are not tolerated in this or any other class Many proctors are present for the exam and are constantly scanning the room We keep track of who sits where in the room We use a program that examines answer sheets for unusual coincidences in responses that can be indicative of cheating Announcements & Reminders The research experience component in this course involves the opportunity for voluntary participation in one research study (that will take no longer than 1 hour to complete) in return for one bonus percentage point in the MOS 1021a course . E.g., if you earn a 67% in the course and participate in one research study, you will earn a grade of 68% in the course Announcements & Reminders As an alternative , students who do not wish to participate in a research study may earn the bonus one percentage point by reading and creating a report about one research article from a selection available online More information is available at our course website: owl.uwo.ca
