However, in order to support you in your learning process, we also provide some studymaterial in printed format.Below you will find most of the material that is available on the home page and in the learning units ofCOS2614 site onmyUnisa.Home pageWelcome to COS2614A very warm welcome to COS2614!COS2614 starts where COS1512/COS112 ended and we explore object-oriented concepts andprogramming using the Qt framework in this module. You are expected to work at least 120 hours tomaster the contents of this module. Remember that this is a programming module and hence it isessential to practise programming using the necessary software on a computer. It is important to workconsistently throughout the semester and submit all three assignments.The lecturer*for this module is Mrs Anitta Thomas, telephone number: 011 670 9181, office: GJG 3-40,Florida campus. Before you phone the lecturer it is suggested that you check for staff availability onOsprey (osprey.unisa.ac.za). You will be able to see when your lecturer is available for telephonicqueries. An e-mail address[email protected]is available for semester 1/2015 queries.Similarly, the e-mail address[email protected]is for semester 2/2015 queries. All yourCOS2614 queries should be posted to the appropriate module e-mail address.All students in this module will be allocated to e-tutors to assist with the module content.
