There is also plenty of open space andparks surrounding our cities. However, exercise does not have to be practiced inside a gym or onpark grounds. Exercise can be performed inside the comfort of your own home. Exercise shouldbe a part of everyone’s daily routine to promote and control weight loss, improve mental health,and prevent and control cardiovascular disease.Practicing daily exercise can promote weight loss and maintain current weight. To promoteweight loss, you should keep track of your calorie intake to determine the number of caloriesneeded to burn off during exercise. There are hundreds of calorie counter websites andapplications that are extremely easy to download on your phone. These sites and apps make iteasy to log your meals and track your calorie intake. The recommended daily calorie intakes inthe U.S. are 2,000 calories for men and 2,500 calories for women. Losing weight is a balancingact, but the equation is quite simple. If you were to eat more calories than you burned, you wouldgain weight. Therefore, by eating less calories than burned during exercise, you would lose
