Elizabeth Easterling History 1302 Dr. Courtney Welch Pearl Harbor Pearl Harbor was a love story centered between a soldier and a nurse going through the rough and dramatic events during Pearl Harbor. Pearl Harbor, a day America will always remember, was an unexpected attack on America by the Japanese aiming towards the United States Navy. Within a two hour period, the Japanese sent by Admiral Yamamoto, the chief a commander, had sank nearly 18 ships, and about 200 planes. More then 3,000 people were killed or badly hurt and needed to seek treatment. America had no little warning about this attack, and so it made it a hard situation to prevent from happening. After these horrifying events, the next day President Roosevelt declared. This was America’s entrance into the war. The movie begins with two young boys, Rafe and Danny, who’s dreams were to be able to fly a plain someday. While being tested for a physical exam to be admitted into the U.S. Army, Rafe meets an interesting young nurse who he begins to fall in love with
