Lecture vs. Keller Plan If you want to take this class then you need to be registered for PSYC 181 with Garbin Garbin is the faculty coordinator If you are in another section with Williamson you will need to DROP and ADD Psych 181 with Garbin: Section 001 (Call number 6555, 4 credits) Section 002 (Call number 6556, 4 credits) Section 003 (Call number 6557, 4 credits) Section 004 (Call number 6558, 4 credits) Once you have added this class let me know via email and which section you enrolled in.

What is the Keller Plan? No regular class meeting Self paced and self directed study course YES – there are due dates But you have control as to how early or late you want to complete an assignment, quiz, exam. Retake quizzes and Exams (mc part) to better your grade You decide what materials to read/use to best learn the course content.

What is the Keller Plan? Most of the class you can do from home/dorm Have to come to campus weekly to take the Quizzes and Exam 500-800 students enrolled per semester Equivalent content as an introductory lecture course Which also means, you will be putting in just as much time into this class as you would an Intro to Psychology lecture course You have control as to when you devote time to this class Just like the lecture version Keller Psychology DOES count towards a Psychology major or minor.
