Unformatted text preview: Liam Kilgallon ART 101: T/R 12-3 Extra Credit Essay 11 March 2008 Squeak Carnwath Exhibit While I was visiting and viewing the Squeak Carnwath Exhibit at Cuesta College, I saw an interesting type of artwork that demonstrated interesting experiences. After looking over all the paintings on exhibit, I decided to write about the painting Perfect Creatures, 2007. I decided to choose this piece over the others because it seemed like it described a lot. I was able to interpret the painting in several ways myself, I’m sure neither of which were the original intention. When this occurs, you know it is good artwork because there can be almost endless possibilities and interpretations. I also chose to do this piece because there are so many different parts to the painting. All of the objects are not necessarily connected to one another and that way you can look at certain sections of the painting and get something different out of each part....
