Benjamin Fogelhut 8/21/15 Ch. 14 Critical Thinking The first issue for Stan was that he has problems collecting the money due to him from orders, which is a difficult task for an individual. People try to stall or make excuses to postpone paying. With a small business, the day is filled with things to do and collecting is hard to fit into it. Second is that he says there are slow months, which mean Stan could become a customer that is difficult to collect from. Third is that he accepts partial payments showing his need for money and exposing his business to others taking advantage of him. Fourth is that he says 75 percent, which is not even enough for what he is doing. So where do the extra funds come from? Last is that there are hurricanes which are making the market demand decline, so he will have to raise his prices, or move to a location more favorable for his business. Stephen has cash Ben has shares of a company, which is a cash equivalent Eunice has T-Bills, which are cash equivalents Gerald has an account holding cash, which he can draw from at any time.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
