“School Readiness is a child ready to learn with the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities going into preschool and kindergarten programs” (Morrison, 2011, P.220). The purpose behind the word readiness is to prepare children for kindergarten. “Readiness is being ready to learn, possessing the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for learning and for success in school” (Morrison, 2011, P. 220). According, to our text readiness consists of specific and well identified skills and disposition (Morrison, 2011, P.221). Some of the dispositions are considering to be part of approaches learning which are inclinations, disposition learning styles necessary to interact effectively with the learning environment. Another one of the readiness skills will be language which seems to play an important skill. “Children need language skills for success in school and life” (Morrison, 2011, P.222).
