Objective : To study the relationship between the dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperatures of air and its humidity. It is defined as the mass (lb or kg) of water vapour per mass (lb or kg) of bone-dry air (bda). Bone- dry air is a carrier gas with no condensable vapour present. Relative humidity is the ratio of the actual water vapour pressure in the air to the water vapour pressure in saturated air at the same temperature. In this experiment, the concept of dry-bulb and wet-bulb psychrometer is used. In a simple wet and dry-bulb psychrometer, there are two identical thermometers (thermocouples in this experiment).
