Professor link 3-4-08 Dysfunctional Family There are a couple of issues in this story. The first is that Glenda’s Father is unemployed and has a serious drinking problem, he is constantly putting down Glenda’s Mother yelling at her and insulting her. Glenda’s mom is over weight, she is unhappy, and is forced to work a menial job just so that there family can survive. Her mom is just like an other person that is an abusive relationship they always claim that they love the other person very much, but I think they are just scared to leave them because that is how people get in abusive relationship. The next problem is that the mother complains constantly to her daughter about her father, you can not do that to your daughter that is something that you need to handle with yourself and the father. Another serious issue is that Glenda has little siblings and they’re not doing good in school because of what is going on at home. It is effecting the little ones mentally. Glenda has a boyfriend that is also a senior, and unlike her
