4/20/15 1. Explain what is meant by the following sections. a. Annual hoshin: in phase 1/phase 2, typically financial/quantifiable goals that are set on a yearly basis. These are the short-term targets. This is a reactive action based on facts. b. Hoshin and measurement plan deployment: in phase 2, cascading objectives down through organization. Move up and down the ladder of abstraction, base the deployment on facts and analysis, and deploy metrics (measurement and achievements). Set an outcome by means, a metric, a target, and a deadline. c. Control by measurement: in phase 3, include monitoring and diagnosis of metrics and targets. Draft a measurement implementation plan that specifies actions to take if results are not in specifications. 2. Based on what you know about hoshin management, complete the section below for annual hoshin, hoshin and measurement plan deployment and control by measurement. You may type your answer into the figure below, or type the answer for each separately below the figure.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
