Physiological psychology (behavioral neuroscience) – focus on how biology affect our thoughts. Hormones, nerves system, genetics. Cognitive psychology – focus on higher mental processes, i.e. memory, reasoning, information processing. Personality psychology – focus on enduring traits, individual differences, what shape a person’s personality. Friend to social psychology. Psychometrics – assessment, developing and refining psychological tools. Create psy test, to make it more affective and accurate. Clinical psychology – focus abnormal behavior, psychological disorders, Counseling psychology – focus on everyday life problems, and adjustments on family problems, etc. Educational and school psychology – how to better teaching, student learning, school- focus on counseling, school related problems, adjustment, learning disabilities.
