Hi guys! Here’s a guide for the projects. These are some things I’m going to be looking for in your projects as well as an outline for how research papers should be constructed. Essentially I will be grading on structure and content and how well you observed the instructions from the project forms. For those that aren’t familiar with a basic essay outline here is a good way to structure you papers: I. Introduction a. This is where you’re going to introduce the subject of your paper b. You can include things like: i. Background information ii. State what you’re going to be talking about iii. The purpose of the project and paper II. Body of the paper a. Here you will tell me about the things that were outlined in the instructions. i. The exhibits you saw ii. How you collected your information iii. Answer the questions from the instructions in ESSAY FORM iv. Provide your data (zoo projects) III. Discussion of what you found a. This is where you can provide your own insights to what you learned during the project i. Things you liked/disliked ii. What the project means in a broader sense of physical
