Meaghan Brown 3/13/08 Journal Assignment Scenario 1 = Work A. There are 4 members where I work that would have voting power. They are: Adam (manager- P1), Todd (assistant manager- P2), Meaghan (Fulltime Third Key- P3), and Kate ( Part-time Associate- P4). I work at Kay Jewelers at the Hampshire Mall. We recently had a debate over the case set-ups. The manager enjoyed the way they were set up and the assistant manager agreed; however, the part-time associate and I thought that it was time for an update in the store. Adam and Todd clearly overruled our opinions. We know that Adam’s mind would not change, so we hoped to sway Todd’s opinion. Without Todd on our side we had no chance of winning the debate. When Todd finally agreed with us, all of our votes against Adam won. Therefore, we changed our display cases around! This shows that there is no dictatorship at Kay Jewelers. There is a fairly even distribution of power, where the manager has the most and the part-time associate has the least.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
