Take our generations’ greatest epic love, Noah and Allie from The Notebook. You can’t help but question, will anybody ever love me as much as Noah loved Allie? Will I ever love somebody as much as Allie loved Noah? Following their story all the way to their deathbeds, they laugh, they yell, they cry,they kiss and you just can’t help but envy their true love. This passionate love conqueringall is great for cinematic fiction, but would this epic love realistically stand the test of time? Or what about her relationship with her perfect fiancé, Lon? Their seemingly effortless relationship doesn’t end up working out, while her relationship with Noah’s lasts forever. But what would’ve actually happened with these relationships outside of cinematic fiction?
