Some negative effects of violent have on children aggressive behavior by providing long lasting changes in the way the child views violence. Video game violence expert Douglas A. Gentile, Ph.D., a developmental psychologist at Iowa state university, Ames, says his study also combats the popular belief that video game violence only affects people who are already highly aggressive.Today, human violence is fast becoming a global epidemic. All over the world, police face angry mobs, terrorists disrupt the Olympics, hijackers seize airplanes, and bombs wreck buildings, killing innocent people and destroying properties.
