SAFETY AND QUALITY PROCESS 2 Abstract The safety and quality is very important to the success of a company. Each company is departmentalized of various different groups that are responsible for various different tasks. Within these departments it’s important that they follow the safety and quality process improvement process also known as “PIP”. In this paper I will discuss current methodologies and tools for improving organizational performance through quality improvement processes. I will also prepare a high-level overview of methods, options, and recommendations for the types of methods and tools that you believe will be best suited to the situation. Lastly, I will incorporate my recommendations into the organizational change effort being undertaken in the organization.

SAFETY AND QUALITY PROCESS 3 Safety and Quality Process In the next few weeks I will be attending department level meeting. The Senior Leadership has identified several areas that need improvement as a result of reviewing the employee surveys. In this meeting I will be addressing those issues and various ways that we can implement a safety and quality improvement process (PIP) within each department. I will use the most current and effective methods and use benchmark state-of-the-art organizational process improvements. The improvement of performance is a milestone within every organization. Most organizations goals are to continuously gain a return on investment while minimizing costs. They also want to flood the market faster with better quality products, and satisfy customers and their employees. One project management methodology is to promote non-wasteful as well as flexible and supportive interpersonal relationships that will result in the improvement of organizational performance.
