How did the Eastern religions and philosophies influence the evolution of Chinese and Indian civilizations? What can we learn from these belief systems as our society continues to evolve in the present? My Post The eastern religions are known and were questioned for their nature of their only being one creator or God as the universal ruler and creator. Today in most religions there is this same belief that there is only one creator. Regardless of what that one individual is called they are worshipped and thanked for providing things for the followers of that religion. The Chinese and the Indian took bits and pieces from these eastern religions to form their own religious practices. Hinduism and Buddhism were both practices of faith that had the one ruler principle as did the early eastern practices.in India Buddhism was the dominant practice then later came a conservative version of Hinduism which was known as the practice of the book to the Moslem people. Response 1 There are di±erences as you stated between the two, but at the end oF the day they all pretty much were doing what they Felt was right For their people. This was a very in depth discussion post. There will always be unanswered questions about what really took place back in these times. As with everything that is written in the text we read today, it’s merely the perception oF the writer. Response 2 In today’s society people are 100 percent For themselves and their Families. O myselF though I serve my country in the army, my Family will always be ²rst, so I agree with you completely when you say that you just have to be Faster than the slowest person. When it comes to certain promotions; you’ve got to compete with the rest oF the army chasing the same thing. So the iF you not ²rst your last saying comes into play....
