Explain some of the benefits of kissing and touching, and discuss areas of the body that are especially sensitive to stimulation o primary and secondary erogenous zones 6. After studying Chapter 18: Atypical Sexual Behaviors, you will be able to… 1.  Define atypical sexual behavior and paraphilia and distinguish them from other labels such as deviant, perverted, abnormal, etc. 2. Explain each of the following considerations in discussing atypical sexual behavior: o how these behaviors exist on a continuum o what our knowledge base is regarding these various behaviors o to what extent paraphilias may exist in clusters and the implications of that o the impact of atypical sexual behavior both on the person exhibiting the behavior and on the recipient of the behavior 3.
