Ben Bridges 2/4/08 Eng. 115-07 Martin’s Belief Martin Luther King displays a man of honor and courage clearly. His strong- willed beliefs and speeches affected many around the nation. His “I Have A Dream Speech,” is the most popular. His message was strong and bold. This speech is his belief in the importance and fight for equality and its permanence for all. This is displayed in the words and phrases he used in his speech. He makes it clear that he believes it’s important to always keep in a forward direction with equality when he says in his speech “As we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead. We cannot turn back.” Equality is an issue that cannot be “let go” of and let to rest. He sees it as a goal that he wants all to reach and hold close. Martin emphasizes the importance of always looking forward when he says this small phrase in his speech. He shows his devotion to moving forward when he says, “No, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like
