The player to the left is the 2ndplayer and so on.You are then able to play 1 pair of cards.ActionsTo make a pair of 10 you will use only 2 cards. For example 1 and 9, 2 and 8, 3 and 7, 4 and 6, 5and 5.The youngest player goes first. Followed by the person to there left and so on.You are only allowed to play 1 pair of cards per turn totaling 10.TransitionsYoungest player goes first. On your turn you will draw 1 card from either the discard pile or from the deck. After drawing your card you will then play 1 pair if you are able to.Once you have played your pair you will discard 1 card to the discard pile. The person to the left will then go.Items36 cards4 sets of cards numbered 1 through 9SetupThe cards get shuffled and set into the middle of the table. The top card is then flipped over and put into the discard pile.Starting with the youngest player at the table you will deal 1 card to each person until. Identify Meaningful ChoicesMeaningful ChoicesMeaningful Choice #1Why the choice is meaningful (two sentences)When does this choice occur? The first meaningful choice would occur at the point of drawing a card from the deck or drawing acard from the discard pile. This is a meaningful choice for the simple reason you are able to seewhat the card on-top of the discard pile is but you are not able to see the card on-top of the deck. Sofor example if you have1,2,4 and 7 in your hand the top card of the discard pile is a 3. Youcan either pick up the 3 from the discard pile and play the 7 and 3 as a pair giving you apoint or possibly get another card that could be of no use to you by picking up therandom card on top of the deck.Meaningful Choice #2Why the choice is meaningful (two sentences)When does this choice occur? The 2ndmeaningful choice would be choosing which pairs you could play for example ifyou have 2,3,7 and 8 in your hand being that you can only play 1 pair per turn do youplay the 2 and 8 or do you play the 3 and 7. With that your also having to choose whichcard you discard as well.Meaningful Choice #3Why the choice is meaningful (two sentences)When does this choice occur? The 3rdmeaningful choice would have to occur when you discard. With the discard if you have beenpaying attention to what the person to your left has been throwing away and picking up from thediscard pile and not playing. You could be possibly feeding the player next to you more points thenneed be. At the same time from the example above if you have a 2, 3, 7 and 8 in your hand afterpicking up a card and say you played the 2 and 8 that would leave you with 3 or 7 to discard whichmakes you discard a point you could possibly have used to win the game.
