Josh Weaver 2/14/08 Leadership Reflection Question: Of the three styles of leadership (authoritarian, democratic, and laissez-faire), what style comes easiest for you? Describe how people respond to you when you use this style? If I had the ability to select my own terms of the question I feel that I would have to answer democratic-authoritarian, I at all times respect everyone’s opinion in the matter at hand but I would be lying if I said that I don’t on occasion try to force or subliminally impose my views into someone’s mind. But given the parameters of the question, I am obliged by my conscience to say authoritarian. The question states to identify the style of leadership which comes easiest and there are times where democratic decisions are a sheer mishap and have failed to produce results. On the other hand, authoritarian style leadership in my case has produced results in a vast majority of the situations in which I find myself always have produced results. In the groups of friends in
