Introduction
The study summarizes the voyage exploration to understand the universe and its components.
The solar system comprises planets, the sun, planetoids, and other small bodies. The summary
also explores the beginning of life and the role of evolution in the existence of life. The topics
discussed in summary include; nature of astronomy, nature of science, the laws of nature, the
numbers in astronomy, the consequences of light travel time, a tour of the universe, the universe
on a large scale, and the universe of the very small.
The Nature of Astronomy
Astronomy is the study of objects above the Earth's surface and their interaction process. The
history of the universe's birth is well documented through the human organization, from the Big
Bang theory to the present occurrence. Through cosmos evolution, we understand that the
universe is made up of elements such as carbon, oxygen, calcium, whose reaction led to the
formation of complex structures. Over the years, the universe has evolved into a more hospitable
place to live. The universe's shape continues to be shaped by the never-ending evolutionary
process.
The Nature of Science

Science helps reveal the composition of nature through the scientific process of experimentation,
observation, testing, and modeling. The scientific methods help understand the nature and the
behavior of the universe. Scientific models are constructed partly from observation and
philosophical beliefs to help understand a particular natural phenomenon and have helped
illustrate the birth of Astronomy. The model states that the sun is the center of the universe,
surrounded by all other plants and astronomical objects. The model was constructed after the
formulation of the hypothesis. In formulating a hypothesis, the statement must explain that
experiments can test.
Astronomy is also described as an observational science, and astronomists use the
universe to test based on what they are studying. The advancement in technology has resulted in
advanced devices for observing objects to provide greater details. Some aspects of astronomy are
related to historical science, as they involve observation of what happened in the universe, and
humans have no control over it. For instance, geologists cannot alter the composition of the
