IMSE516 Group 2 Professor Klungle Escalante, Simpson, Zachary, Murphy Question 1 Page 134: List Of Assumptions For Basis Of Planning Wedding General Assumptions: 1. The wedding will be on June 30 and the major vendors, Minister, Preacher, Priest, location, etc. will be available on that date. 2. Peggy and Tony will provide a budget for this wedding, and be able to obtain money (borrow) upfront to cover all expenses. 3. Peggy and Tony will get enough money in gifts to cover 50% of the total cost (to repay 50% of the borrowed funds – the rest will be paid off with high interest loans, such as credit cards). 4. The number of guests will be between 150 and 200 people, comprised of Family & Friends. The lower number than desired 300-350 will be due to location. 5. The wedding ceremony and reception will be held in Dallas . 6. As Tony is a chef and he works in a resort hotel, he will get an employee discount for handling the wedding at the hotel. 7. The resort has a wide outdoor area for events and tents are included in the venue costs. 8. The resort is in a very scenic area and will be a good location in which to take wedding pictures.
