Introduction :
Diversity : Celebration of Cultural Heritage is a one-day conference that is expected to be
attended by about five hundred (500) people, consisting of students from STI College Tacurong and other
participating schools. The event will be held on June 6, 2021 (Monday), 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and the
event venue will be held at the biggest function hall of the hotel to cater the number of attendees, which
is the Emerald Function Hall of Carlitos Hotel in Isulan Sultan Kudarat, Philippines. The purpose of this
event is to instill new insights and knowledge about the cultural differences of the people of Region XII.

Jay-Ann (Event
Head/Marketing
and Program Head)
I oversee the organization,
the whole program, and the
event. Also, I am responsible
for disseminating the task for
each committee. Every
decision-making regarding
the success of the event
should have my approval. I
am also in charge of the
event marketing, from
creating a Facebook page for
the Event Organization and
even Printing flyers,
tarpaulins, Photo walls, and
Attendees Souvenirs. Since
our team is limited with
human resources, It is also
my job to bring to life the
project as the Program head.
 Understafed -this
challenge was
resolved by
assuming the
duties of two
people by one
person (for
example, I
assumed two
other duties
because no one
will do it).
 Lack of
Experience- I
resolved this by
gathering
information that
will be helpful for
me to become
efficient as an
Event Head of this
project.
 Lack of AV
Equipment on
the event venue -
this issue was
resolved by
thinking of
alternative
solutions such as
renting AV
equipment
instead.
It is impendent to avoid
understaffing since our
team consists only of
three (3) people. The
best way to overcome
this is to multi-task. And
to learn all of the roles
and responsibilities of
all other committees.
The lack of experience
of our staff and
committee is not our
fault since we are just
starting as an event
management
organization. Enable to
overcome these
challenges, gathering
information,
researching, and
training is the best
solution.
Lack of AV Equipment
at the event venue is
our lapses as a team. A
site visit is a must, and
checking all of the types
of equipment available
at the event venue will
be implemented.

Brandon (Food and
Beverage)
Brandon is in charge of
overseeing the Food and
Beverage preparation for the
event. He also creates the
menu for the event, from
choosing the best food and
beverage that the attendees
would like. And even the
design of the menu is in
charge to him. He worked
with the chef and cook of
the hotel to ensure that the
proper measures of food
handling in food preparation
are strictly executed and
observed.
