Yes, Allele frequencies in gametes in a population are the same as gamete frequencies for those allele. 8. Which are more stable in a population—genotype frequencies or allele frequencies? Allele frequencies, there are a lot more 9. What is the Hardy-Weinberg equation? P^2 + 2pq + q^2 = 1 10. What are six assumptions that must be met if one can use the Hardy Weinberg equation? Six assumptions of hardy weinberd are that mating is random, allele frequencies are same in males and females, genotypes are equal in viability and fertility, no natural selection, there is no mutation, no migration and population large enough that allele frequencies will not change from one generation to another. 11.
