Doob and Gross Field Study Assignment PY 102-2 1. What kind of car would you use to represent high status today? I would use a new, shiny BMW Z4 M Roadster to represent high status. 2. What kind of car would you use to represent low status today? I would use a rusty, dirty 1985 Yugo GV to represent low status. 3. How would you expect the results of such a study done today to compare with the results seen by Doob and Gross? I would expect the average latency of honking to be less for both male and females today than in the previous study. I would also expect the number of horn honks to increase. I do not however expect different results in regard to low versus high status. I would expect drivers to be more patient with the high status vehicle than the low status vehicle just as in the previous study. I also believe males will continue to show lower latency numbers in relation to females.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
